In an earlier painting of Megan Fox I wanted to try a style which I described as colorful but messy. I am sure there is a more refined term for this style but that is what best describes it for me. Carrying on with this style I wanted to try something a little more elegant. A ballerina reference was what really caught my eye.
I created the painting using the following equipment:
- Artrage – Digital painting program for Windows, Mac and tablet. I used the Windows desktop version of the software for this piece.
- Wacom Intuos 4 Graphics Tablet – A graphics tablet is a “must have” item for desktop based digital art and Wacom has always been my weapon of choice.
- Adobe Photoshop – Sizing the reference image followed by some minor adjustments to lighting.
