Adobe Fresco – Drawing a Tree with Vector Brushes

On September 24th Adobe released it’s new app, Adobe Fresco. Designed specifically for Apple Pencil and touch devices, Adobe Fresco hosts a large collection of brushes designed to meet the needs of illustrators, artists and people who just want to create.

Fresco is seen be many, including myself as Adobe’s answer to extremely successful painting applications such as Procreate or Artrage. As a Creative Cloud member, I did not have to pay extra for Fresco and am very interested to see how it performs. I downloaded the app a few days ago and have just started to play with it.

The first thing I wanted to check out were the vector brushes setting so I captured this short video on my iPad to see how the vector brushes worked while drawing a basic tree. Just using the vector brushes did not really give me anything over Adobe Draw but I do like the user interface and can see that Adobe have worked hard on this. I do look forward to using this more in the future to see how the oil and watercolor brushes compare to those within Artrage
